Poshmark Tips For Newbies!

Image
I opened up my Poshmark store when the platform took a huge growth back in 2013. At first, I didn't really take it seriously and posted items every once in a while and tested the waters. Little by little, I made some sales here and there. It was just enough to give me a little glimpse of hope with this online community. At the time, I had my Blu Butterfly Vintage brick and mortar store in the downtown area and as everyone knows, having a physical boutique is very time-consuming! It left me little time to really dive deep into the Poshmark ocean. In 2017 I closed my B&M and moved back to Orlando to be with my Dad who was gravely ill with cancer. My heart was broken that my cute little boutique had to close down for multiple reasons, but I felt like even though I closed the doors there, my business could still stay alive online. Now, here I am in 2021, and I LOVE the fact that I moved my shop online indefinitely!      Not only have a met an amazing community of other awes

We have expanded our inventory with not only vintage clothing but also modern wear. We also are starting to carry vintage home goods and décor. Usually, those items do not even have a chance to make it online as they sell very quickly. As many of you know, we have been giving back to our community

BBV Summer Collection 2017: Summer Time Haul!!!

I have been on the go since moving our shop online and making a big move to Orlando in August. After closing our brick and mortar shop, I have been more mobile to set up our pop up shops. It also meant being able to have more time to meet clients for inventory replenishing and fashion styling! I have always loved this part of my job in retail. As a buyer for one of the top surf shop's in Orlando back in the day, my passion still lies in finding the best pieces that my customers will enjoy for life. Styling vintage clothing has always been a gift and I don't take it for granted. I take every opportunity given to me to style lovely ladies all around me for every occasion. The next event that I have been getting women styled for is a Tea Party Fundraiser that is helping out for a Guatemala missions trip. Not only am I finding myself styling the ladies for this event, but I am also styling myself for the occasion. Here is a sneak peek at my 1930's dress....more pictures to com
